Dear Friends at First UU,
After ten years as your organist and music director, I am leaving to take a position at Holy Communion Episcopal Church in University City. As many of you know, I am an Episcopalian and my wife is an Episcopal deacon. This was a chance to go back to my own denomination that I could not pass up.
I have worked for several churches in the area, and no place has ever been as friendly and welcoming as First UU. You have a fine pipe organ, a top rate choir and choir director, and one of the best ministers I have worked with in my career.
I give thanks for all the times we have had together over the last ten years. I wish you all the best in the future.

Earl's last day at the church will be May 31st and we will have a special recognition to thank him for his time with us on Sunday, May 19th before the annual meeting.
