Partner Church Committee Update

First Church's Partner Church is in Csókfalva, Romania. Our committee coordinates our churches’ interactions and support.  Our committee has exchanged emails with the new minister of our Partner Church Rev. Noémi Tamási, who replaced Lóránt Tőkés last fall.  Rev.Tamási is our Partner Church’s first female minister.  We look forward to working with Rev. Tamási.  Last fall they secured funds to make much-needed repairs to the exterior of the church.  The phrase “Egy Az Ishten” seen in the photo appears in front of all Transylvanian Unitarian churches and means “God is One.”    Please contact Kimberly Perry if you are interested in joining the committee.  You can contribute to the Partner Church program through our church’s website.
