March 5th Trinity Hot Lunch Project

First Church coordinates with other area religious institutions to support the important ongoing work done by our Central West End neighbor, Trinity Episcopal Church, through its Food Ministry.  Three times a year, First Church volunteers gather to prepare a nutritious meal for Trinity's Sunday Hot Lunch Program offering both food and fellowship to those in need.

Many thanks to our cooks, transporters, servers and clean up crew who gathered in our First Church kitchen on Sunday, March 5th to aid the Social Responsibility committee by preparing lunch for 85 and then transporting it to Trinity.  Thanks also to Lynn Hunt for her help in obtaining supplies.
